Angela Zizzamia is a New York State Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and Certified School Psychologist.  Angela provides an integrative, eclectic, and holistic approach to psychotherapeutic counseling, assessment, and consultation services.  She has a wide depth and breadth of knowledge and skills that have been acquired over a twenty plus year span within the field of psychology and human services. Her background ranges from working with diverse issues and populations and a vast array of psychiatric disorders and conditions including Axis I Clinical syndromes such as depression, anxiety, Bipolar Disorders, psychosis, PTSD, etc. and/or Axis II Personality disorders such as Borderline, Self-defeating Personality Disorders etc., as well as polysubstance abuse, ADHD, learning disabilities, self-destructive behaviors, relational conflicts, grief/loss, a variety of cognitive disorders such as Alzheimer’s Disease and other types of dementia, as well as addressing a whole host of life on life’s terms issues, events, and experiences.

Angela has experience in working with adolescents, adults, and geriatric clients, as well as couples and families.  She has well-developed skills in conducting psychological evaluations to assess IQ/cognitive functioning, clinical disorders, personality variables, learning disabilities, pervasive developmental disabilities, adaptive behavioral functioning and more.
